Questions
Can you mount a TV above a fireplace?
Often, yes, depending on the wall, the heat and the viewing angle. A pull-down mount helps with neck strain.
Can you hide the wires?
Usually. The options depend on the wall, and I’ll go through them before the install.
Do I need to buy the mount?
Either works. Buy your own, or I’ll recommend one that fits the TV and the wall.
Can you set up surround sound or a soundbar?
Yes, including getting the TV, receiver and streaming boxes to agree on one remote.
Which smart home platforms do you work with?
The common ones: Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and hubs like Home Assistant. The aim is one system you control, not five apps.
Do you install security cameras?
Yes: placement, setup, recording and phone viewing. Cameras can record to a local recorder instead of a monthly cloud plan.
Can you set things up in a vacation rental so guests can use them?
Yes. Simple inputs, a separate guest network, and nothing that needs your passwords.
