How it works
Get in touch
Call (530) 350-6883 or email hello@flowingpixels.com and describe what’s going on. That part costs nothing.
A free first look
I ask questions and give you a verbal diagnosis, free. Software problems often get fixed in a remote session. Hardware problems get hands on: I come to you, or you drop the machine off.
Fixed and explained
I call before ordering parts or before a job grows. When it’s done, you hear what was wrong and what changed. Invoices go to your client portal.
Questions
Do you work with businesses as well as individuals?
Yes, both: homes, home offices and small businesses.
Do you make house calls?
Yes. House calls cover South Lake Tahoe, Meyers, Stateline and Zephyr Cove, and go as far as Reno. The first 15 minutes of travel each way are free; after that, travel time is $100 an hour.
Can you help remotely?
Yes, for software problems: settings, email, accounts, slowdowns and malware. Remote sessions run on remote-desktop software I host myself, and only start when you allow the connection.
Can I drop my computer off?
Yes. Drop-off and pick-up both work, arranged when you get in touch. Pick-up is included within about a 15-minute drive; farther out, travel time is billed the same way as a house call.
How is the work billed?
Getting in touch and the verbal diagnosis are free. After that, it’s $100 an hour, remote or on-site, and I call before ordering parts or before a job grows. Business work is quoted. Invoices go to your client portal.
