The parts list comes first, with a price for each part, before anything is ordered.

How it works

  1. Tell me what it’s for

What you’ll run, what the current machine does badly, and your budget.

  2. Parts list

You get a parts list, with the reason for each choice, before anything is ordered.

  3. Build and test

Assembled, cable-managed, stress-tested and set up, then handed over.

Questions

Is a custom PC cheaper than a prebuilt?

Sometimes, for the same performance. The bigger advantage is control: no bloatware, quality parts where they matter, and room to upgrade later.

Can you build within my budget?

Yes. The budget sets the parts list, and the parts list shows where the money goes.

Can you upgrade my current PC instead?

Often. A new SSD, more memory or a newer graphics card can be enough. I’ll tell you if the rest of the machine would hold an upgrade back.

What do I need for video editing?

It depends on the footage and the software. 4K and log footage want a strong graphics card, plenty of memory, and fast NVMe storage for media and cache.

Can I bring my own parts?

Yes. If you’ve already bought parts, I check they work together, then build with them.

How long does a build take?

Mostly as long as the parts take to arrive. You’ll get a timeline with the parts list.
